Our Story
From a Cap Collection to Dome Dock
DomeDock started with my growing collection of baseball caps and one simple problem: I couldn’t find a clean, practical way to store them. I sketched out an idea and built the first wall-mounted stacking organizer from wood in my workshop. Chelsea saw the potential in the filing-style design and encouraged me to turn it into something we could share with other hat collectors.
We began selling DomeDock at local markets in Texas, where we sold out week after week. That momentum led to a successful crowdfunding campaign that helped fund proper injection molds, while we committed to keeping manufacturing and assembly in the United States. What began as a solution for my own hats eventually took us all the way to Shark Tank Season 16, where we secured a deal and introduced DomeDock to a much larger audience.
