FAQs

What does mouth tape do?

It gently keeps your lips closed during sleep to encourage nasal breathing, which can support better airflow and more restful sleep.

What ingredients are infused in the tape?

Each strip contains collagen, vitamin B5 (panthenol), vitamin B7 (biotin), vitamin E (tocopherol), and aloe vera extract to hydrate and support skin health around the lips.

How does it help with snoring?

By promoting nasal breathing instead of mouth breathing, it may help reduce snoring for many users.

Is the adhesive safe for skin?

Yes. The tape uses a gentle, hypoallergenic adhesive designed to stay in place overnight while remaining comfortable on sensitive skin.

Will it dry out my lips?

No. The formula is infused with hydrating skincare ingredients that help moisturize and soothe lips overnight.

Is mouth taping safe for everyone?

Mouth taping should only be used if you can comfortably breathe through your nose. It is not recommended for people with untreated sleep apnea, serious health conditions, or certain medical concerns. If unsure, consult a doctor first.

Can I use it with other lip products?

Yes, it is compatible with your existing lip care routine, including overnight lip masks.

How often should I use it?

It can be used nightly as part of your regular sleep routine.

The best I've tried

Nicole B. (Verified Buyer) 5/5

I've tried 3 different mouthtape brands and hated them all. They would rip my lips off, leave a rash, or come off in the middle of the night. That is not the case with these. I brought them on vacation and had my mom and cousins sleeping with them by the end of the trip. Not only do they not rip my skin off, they are actually GOOD FOR MY SKIN.

Very moisturizing

Anna (Verified Buyer) 5/5

Leaves my lips feeling moisturized in the am. After just a few days, wrinkles around my lips are less.

Was skeptical but they work

Susan (Verified Buyer) 5/5

Works great! Was skeptical at first since there was no hole but it is thin enough you don't feel like you are suffocating but it's strong enough that it works! Comes off easily too!

Comfy to use

Laura H. (Verified Buyer) 5/5

Light weight and comfortable. No weird smell.

Sleeping much better now

Our Story

How a Former Chemist Created a Gentle, Collagen-Infuesd Mouth Tape That Doesn't Destroy Your Skin

Ugly Sleep Club started when I discovered mouth taping and realized how much it improved my sleep. Breathing through my nose helped me wake up feeling more rested and without dry mouth or my usual overnight snoring. But every mouth tape I tried felt like medical tape, harsh on the skin, uncomfortable to wear overnight, and clearly not designed for people who actually care about skincare. As a former chemist, I knew it could be done better. So I created Ugly Sleep Club mouth tape with a softer, skin-friendly adhesive infused with collagen, vitamins, and aloe to support the delicate skin around your lips while you sleep. If something sits on your face for eight hours every night, it should actually be good for your skin.
